If you are looking at saving yourself tax, you also have to make sure that you are also looking at benefits i.e. making sure you are claiming everything you are entitled to.
One of the key benefits is child benefit. For years, a benefit (£80ish a month per child) that was given by default for anybody with kids, now restricted somewhat by the current government.
