Everything you need to know about your accounts + tax in 2 hours

July 18, 2012

Accountancy is the language of business.  It always has been and always will be.

However, you don’t need to become an accountant to understand your accounts or your tax.  I have become an accountant (obviously) so I am in a great position to help you understand your own numbers without going through 3 years of (intense) training that I undertook 10 years ago.

This is why I have arranged New Client Success Training – everything you need to know about your accounts + tax in 2 hours for next Tuesday 24th July at 10am – 12am at our office.

This is where I invite our new clients of the past 3 months to a training session where I give them everything they need to know to understand their accounts + tax.

The session is free to clients and £50 + VAT to those who are not clients.

The 2 hours covers:

1. The profit and loss account

2. The balance sheet

3. The cash flow

4. Accounting + tax deadlines

5. Tax – the basics

6. Key performance indicators – the numbers you should be tracking

The reason we put on these events is that the purpose of my firm is to change lives through financial education.  Its not enough for us to simply take records from clients, produce a load of numbers in a couple of weeks and hand them back to the client.  Our remit is to EXPLAIN what the numbers to ENABLE the client to UNDERSTAND their own numbers.

By understanding the numbers, clients can get a grip of their finances and really start to see a difference in their profit line.

Obtaining financial mastery isn’t everything you need to know about running a successful, profitable business but it is the foundation for everything that follows.  Without understanding what the numbers mean, a business owner can effectively run his business blind.
