I am currently recruiting for a qualified ACA chartered accountant. The attributes we are specifically looking for are:
- Passionate about practice (rather than interested in working in industry)
- Completed all exams, ACA qualified
- Bright, intelligent, able to think quickly, great attention to detail, technically strong and extroverted (enjoys interacting with clients and other team members)
Ideally, they would be from a big 4 firm (Ernst & Young, KPMG, Deloittes, PWC) or a top 30 firm (Grant Thornton, Baker Tilly, Mazars, Haines Watts).
I want to speak with someone who is ambitious, professional and technically excellent but has decided the corporate “rate race” is not for them and wants to work in a smaller, friendly environment where they have real responsibility, direct contact with clients and the opportunity to impact people’s lives by providing a great service.
We are very flexible on the days and hours worked and would be very pleased to speak with someone who is interested in a reduced-hours position as well as those who are looking for a full time role.
